BITE Handbook 2010-2011

Bylaw Amendment Request:

The Policy Committee concurs with the amendment request made by Mary Cloos and presents this amendment for consideration at our Aug Conf Business Meeting.

ARTICLE IV. OFFICERS
A. Duties of the Officers

3. The President Elect shall perform the duties of the President in his/her absence and will assume the office of President the following membership year. The President Elect shall serve on the Executive Board of BITE, serve on the BITE Awards Committee, serve on the OkACTE Advisory Committee, Chair the BITE Nominating Committee and attend National Policy Seminar, with the BITE Division paying the actual expenses incurred, with proof of registration and proper travel/food receipts. Proposed amendment: ADD: If the President Elect is unable to attend the National Policy Seminar, the President may appoint a replacement from the BITE Executive Board.

If adopted, the section would read:
